Do the Write Thing: Middle School Writing Program
A small taglineDo the Write Thing is a national writing initiative that has middle school students write about the topic of youth violence. They are guided in thinking about violence they have seen or experienced and to provide suggestions on how to alleviate violence in their communities and the world at large. A winning student from each city is chosen to attend a conference in Washington DC each summer. Learn more at Dtwt.org. If your school is interested in participating, please contact Dr. Tinajero who is the coordinator for the Dallas area.
